St. Anthony Sends Three to State

With the winter athletics season coming to a close, St. Anthony Village High School is thrilled be sending three competitors to the State Tournament—Rebekah LaBerge for Nordic Skiing, and Allie Gams and Grace Hauge for Gymnastics.

Senior Rebekah LaBerge culminates a terrific season with the Nordic Ski team by competing in the State Ski Meet on Friday, February 15th. Rebekah qualified for State with a strong fourth place overall finish in the Section 5 Meet at Camp Ripley. She also received an All-Conference Award for her impressive second place finish at the North Suburban Conference Meet.

The St. Anthony Gymnastics team is proud to send two of its members, Allie Gams and Grace Hauge, to the State Gymnastics Meet this year. Their fantastic performance at the Section 4A Meet qualified Gams for state on Vault and Hauge on Bars, Beam, Floor, and All-Around. The state meet this year is held at the Roy Wilkins Auditorium in St. Paul on Saturday, February 23rd with competition starting at 11:00am.
