St. Anthony Village High School is Sending Another Competitor to a Winter State Tournament!
St. Anthony Village High School is sending another competitor to a winter state tournament! William Baker is going to be representing St. Anthony-Spring Lake Park as a wrestler at the Xcel Energy Center on Wednesday, February 27th at 8:00 pm. Baker has had a fantastic season going into the state tourney with a 30-12 record. William, a ninth grader, will be wrestling in the 135 lb weight class and is going to the state meet for the first time. “I felt I had something to prove on Saturday and I did it,” Baker commented on winning second place in the wrestle-backs in the section tournament. If Baker wins his first match, he will move on to compete on Thursday. Good luck, William!
