ANNOUNCEMENTS for February 3

Happy birthday to Danny Husen and Walker Buie...birthday wishes to those who celebrate their birthdays over the weekend: Jessica Jara, Dom Neher, and Shane Scherber.

Come join Winter Running Club!! It's great if you are a cross country runner not doing a winter sport or if you just want to run. It will start next Tuesday, Feb. 7^th in the commons right after school. Additional details will be given at the first session. Check with Eli Banks or Jesse Lindahl if you have any questions.

Speech Team: Remember that our bus leaves from the upper entrance tomorrow morning at 6:45 a.m. Also, captain's practice is today after school in room 312.

If you participated in the Practice ACT test on Feb. 14^th and have NOT received your scores yet, please stop by MacLeod's office (206) to pick them up.

All ski club forms and money must be turned in TODAY and if you turn in your form and money but cannot make Tuesday's trip you must email or contact the ski club coordinator to let her know you will not be attending PRIOR to the trip.

Key Club is selling Valentine Grams for Valentine's Day for our school's garden. $5 bunch of roses; $1 candy $5.50 for both. Items will be sold until February 13...during lunch and mornings (sometimes). Please buy and support your school.

Students, it's not too late to sign up for making up those failed math and science courses. Sign up with Mr. MacLeod and see Mr. O. We meet Thursday after school from 3-4:30. Get going! You know you need to! Get off the couch, and DO IT!!

Remember to buy your SnoDaze button during lunch this week for $20. This button will get you into EVERY home event during SnoDaze week, plus it will get you in a daily raffle for gift cards.

PBIS is sponsoring lunch time activities for snow daze week. Sign up for the pie eating contest and Mario Kart Racing in the commons area on Thursday and Friday of this week. Two students per grade level will be randomly selected from the sign up buckets.

Students interested in signing up for the St. Anthony Trap Shooting team, please pick up a registration form in the high school office. Completed forms must be returned to the high school office by Wednesday, February 8. Registration forms are also mailed home to parents in today's announcements.

College visits continue this week with Empire Beauty on 2/9. Looking ahead, North Hennepin Community College plans to be here at the end of the month. Please sign up in the guidance office.

Attention track athletes - there are two clinics coming up for you to brush up on your skills before the season starts. More information is available in the high school office (and attached).

LAST DAY to sign up for next week's Talent Show. Can you sing, dance, play an instrument? Are you an improv artist? Share your talents with your classmates at next week's Talent Show. $5/performer with fee waived if you have a button; sign up in the high school office TODAY.
