LOCAL JOBS FOR LOCAL JOB SEEKERS!

MINNESOTAJOBS.COM is committed to helping the youth of Minnesota find career training for their future.  We wanted to share with you two programs we have that are tailored just for seniors.

MINNESOTAJOBS.COM Train for Change College Fair - May 8, 2009 MINNESOTAJOBS.COM will be hosting a college fair that will feature colleges who have training programs that are two years or less.  From 2:00-7:00 pm your students will be able to browse these institutions at the famous National Sports Center in Blaine.  There is NO cost for students to attend and parking is FREE!  Schools like Dunwoody College of Technology.  The ARt Institutes International Minnesota, and Century College are signing up on a daily basis.

MINNESOTAJOBS.COM Quarterly Scholarship Program MINNESOTAJOBS.COM has a scholarship available to your students.  Every quarter we have a drawing in which one student receives a $1,000 towards their post-secondary education.  For 2009 Scholarships will be awarded March 31, June 30, September 30 and December 31.

The St. Anthony Village High School Career and College Resource Center (CCRC) is located in the Guidance Office is open during the regular school schedule.  Please check with this web page periodically for updates.

The CCRC is a place where students and parents can go to explore and investigate career opportunities
as well as a good place to start for future planning.  We are also a resource for national tests, scholarship
information, various college applications and some good advice.  College representatives are scheduled
periodically.  Check the link entitled "Career" for a table with dates and times.
