POST-SECONDARY ENROLLMENT OPTIONS (PSEO) ACT
The Post-Secondary Enrollment Options (PSEO) Act enables juniors and seniors to enroll in courses at eligible colleges and vocational schools for high school credit.  The purpose of this legislation is to promote rigorous educational pursuits and to provide a wider variety of options to high school students by enabling 11th and 12th graders to enroll full-time or part-time, with limited costs to them, in non-sectarian courses or programs in eligible Minnesota post-secondary institutions.  Students earn high school credit for courses and, if students continue their education beyond high school, colleges or universities may choose to transfer their completed coursework through PSEO as college credits.

** Students must meet the admissions requirements of the post-secondary institution.  Students should also check with their respective post-secondary institution for their application process.**

Interested 10th and 11th grader students should see Mr. MacLeod in the Guidance Office for more information concerning this program or contact the PSEO institution for their input.  We feel it is necessary for the school district to be notified by April 1 of your intention of participating in this program for the upcoming year.  Application deadlines vary from school to school, but most PSEO school application are due by April 1.  You should contact the PSEO school directly.
