College Visits to SAVHS College representatives make visits to SAVHS on a regular basis, please check with the Daily Announcements or stop by the Guidance Office to see who and when. It is a great opportunity to get some individual attention from a school you might be interested in.
Applications Most college applications can be filled out online, on the college or universities website. Please stop by the G.O. if you have questions when filling out your applications. FEE WAIVER - click here for the NACAC Fee Waiver form, you may qualify if your family is of economic need.
Letters of Recommendation Letters of Recommendation are often needed for college or scholarship applications. Ask 2-3 school staff members that you have a good working relationship with to write you a letter, when doing so please use the recommendation pamphlet and allow ample time for the writer to complete it.
National College Fair The National College Fair is usually held at the Minneapolis Convention Center in October. We encourage all seniors and juniors to go with their parents. But, for those who cannot go with their parents, we typically plan to take two bus loads of students for about two hours. Permission slip required. Please check the District Calendar for specific details.
