Congratulations to junior Orlando Reyes on being named this week’s Star of the Week!
Orlando came up clutch with a standout performance in a crucial 3–1 road victory over DeLaSalle last Thursday, scoring two goals and adding an assist.
His attacking impact and ability to step up in an important match helped lead the Huskies to a big conference win.
Congrats, Orlando!
Boys Tennis Coach Dave Wiggins Announces Retirement

After nine seasons, boys tennis coach Dave Wiggins has announced his plans to retire from coaching.
Coach Wiggins retired from teaching in 2025 and between being a math teacher, tennis coach, and math team coach, he has impacted hundreds of students.
Throughout his coaching career at SAVHS, he earned four Section Coach of the Year awards and led the team to three section runner-up finishes. He also coached multiple students who reached the state tournament.
"One of the most important aspects of the student experience is the coach who is put in front of our participants. We have been very fortunate to have Coach Wiggins leading our boys tennis program for many years,” said Director of Activities Troy Urdahl. “We are excited for him to explore other interests and passions in his retirement."
The search for the next transformational boys tennis coach has begun.
