Building & Grounds

St. Anthony - New Brighton School District building and grounds staff maintains sites which includes a total of three buildings, serving approximately 1,800 students and 350 staff members at:

  • St. Anthony Middle School/ St. Anthony Village High School (schools share a building)
  • Wilshire Park Elementary School
  • Community Services building (shared with St. Anthony City Hall)

Learning space for K-12 students total 344,000 square feet, and includes 108 classrooms. In addition, Building and Grounds maintains:

  • 35 acres of land 
  • Five athletic fields
  • Five gymnasiums 
  • A six-lane swimming pool 
  • One 685 seat performance auditorium. 

Buildings and Grounds conducts a total of four district health and safety meetings for staff each year.

Custodial staff includes certified boiled operators, aquatic facility operators, registered unlicensed electricians, and licensed pesticide applicators.

Annual health & safety notifications

The Building and Grounds department maintains federal and state standards for health and safety in the St. Anthony-New Brighton School District through the following areas:

  • Indoor air quality management.
  • Asbestos abatement.
  • Pest control.
  • Playground inspection.
  • Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) required training programs.
  • Recycling of hazardous materials and electronic devices.
  • Reporting of district-related injuries.
