St. Anthony-New Brighton families,

We want to provide you with technology updates and important information as we head into the 2020-21 school year. As we recently announced, we launched our new website at the end of July which will help improve how we present and share information with our community, families and staff. 

In addition to our new website, we are transitioning from Infinite Campus to Skyward, a new student information system. Parents/guardians will also be utilizing a new online payment system, called RevTrak. Lastly, we will be implementing our 1:1 Initiative (technology for every student) so students can have access to their own technology throughout the school year. The following will provide additional details about these new systems and programs.

Skyward 
We are transitioning from Infinite Campus to Skyward, a new student database. The district has already been using Skyward for business needs over the past two years. Expanding the use of Skyward will allow for a better alignment between finance, staff information, and student data. 

Families will be able to access Skyward via the St. Anthony-New Brighton (SANB) website and download the Skyward app on their mobile device (Apple and Android). A link to Skyward on the SANB website, along with details on how to download the app to access account information will be available soon. 

RevTrak
This new system allows families to pay for meals, various school fees, and activities in one location within their Skyward account. There will be a one-time secure set up with RevTrak. Following the initial setup, RevTrak will be accessed only via Skyward. More details about the account set-up process will be provided at a later date from your child’s school.

1:1 Technology Initiative
The district has been planning for a 1:1 Technology Initiative over the past few years, prior to COVID-19. This past spring with emergency distance learning, the district received state and federal funding from the Governor's Emergency Education Relief (GEER) Fund and the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) Fund that helped jump-start the 1:1 Technology Initiative.

It was important to provide students and families with the most up-to-date device security, along with improved classroom management and testing tools for teachers and students. 

The district will be providing technology (iPads for grades K-2; Chromebooks for grades 3-12) for every student, regardless of the learning model— whether hybrid, modified hybrid, distance, or in-person.
