This February, attendees will reflect on how we, as individuals, show up in our community.

This February, attendees will reflect on how we, as individuals, show up in our community. How are we staying authentic yet open to people and new/different ideas? And, what about those who are new to our community— how do we ensure they feel included, seen, and truly welcomed? We will be considering what our place and role are within our broader community.

February "What’s my place and role in our community?" Engagement Circle virtual events are set for:

  • Saturday, Feb. 20, from 10 a.m. to noon
  • Monday, Feb. 22, from 5-7 p.m.

Register online (make sure to register early as there is a 20 attendee max/circle)

Regardless of where you are at in your journey, all of us, at every age, have an important role in our community. From a teenager that attends school, volunteers, or has a part-time job, to a retiree who takes care of their grandchildren, mentors others, or is an active member of a local board— everyone makes a lasting impact.

It’s also important to contemplate how our differing comfort levels, backgrounds, cultures, experiences, and perceptions play a role in how we are able to show up and participate in our community. We will also consider the ways in which we can widen our experiences and interactions, ultimately resulting in a deeper and stronger connection to the community as a whole.
