The ARP ESSER fund (ESSER III) was signed into law on March 11, 2021.  The ARP includes $1.3 billion for Minnesota districts to help schools return to, and maintain, safe in-person learning for students.

St. Anthony-New Brighton was allocated $815k of ESSER III funds, and 20% of that allocation must be spent on Learning Recovery Activities. The district has until Sept. 30, 2024, to spend these funds.

There are several requirements that districts have to fulfill in order to receive ESSER III funding. One of the requirements is to gather information from community members on the spending plan development.

Completing this survey lets the district know what is important to your student. Administration will complete the application for ESSER III funds based on information gathered from community input, district/school leadership, the Local Incident Team (LIT), etc.
