Bussing services will move to Monarch Bus Service

We are excited to announce that St. Anthony - New Brighton Schools (SANB) will be moving bus companies at the end of the 2023-2024 school year. Starting in the summer of 2024, bus transportation will be provided by Monarch Bus Service, which has two decades of experience serving Minnesota school districts and a proven track record of reliability and friendly service.

We made the decision in December to begin the search for other transportation companies that were known to be reliable and provide consistent and friendly service. Transporting students to and from school safely has always been a high priority for SANB. As many families are aware, the bus contractor for the past four years has been Metropolitan Transportation Network (MTN). Our staff, families and students have navigated a number of transportation challenges – late buses, insufficient and untimely communication, and uneven performance from some drivers.

We look forward to working in partnership with Monarch Bus Services. Our plan is to install GPS tracking devices within each vehicle so that our families can have location tracking for their students. More information about that service will be provided later this year.
