St. Anthony - New Brighton Schools is excited to announce that Dr. Tamika Fuller has accepted the position of Director of Effective Instruction (formerly known as the Teaching and Learning Department). The change in the department name was made as it more accurately reflects our work as a district.
"In St. Anthony, we plan to have a shared belief that effective instruction ends DDP (disparity, disproportionality and predictability). We do so through personalized and collective capacity building, professional development and equity-centered coaching," said Dr. Fuller.
"I believe in providing high support and high expectations for our educators. This will lead to our success."
Dr. Fuller started her career as a speech language pathologist before transitioning to the classroom as a dual-certified educator in general and special education. Dr. Fuller was a site-based administrator at a K-12 private school in Dallas, Texas as well as a district level administrator in the Office of Teacher and Principal Quality for Baltimore City Public Schools, where she focused on instructional leadership. As founder and CEO of Education Reform Enterprises (ERE) since 2014, Dr. Fuller has focused on equity leadership across the nation. It was through her leadership with ERE that Dr. Fuller became connected with the St. Anthony-New Brighton School District.
Dr. Fuller begins July 1, 2024. Please help us welcome Dr. Fuller to our St. Anthony-New Brighton team!
