ISD 282 Announces Superintendent Transition Agreement

ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE, MINN. – In March 2024, Dr. Renee Corneille and the ISD 282 School
Board entered into a three-year employment agreement for Dr. Corneille to serve as
Superintendent of St. Anthony–New Brighton Public Schools through June 2027.

Following recent changes in district governance, Dr. Corneille and the School Board have
mutually agreed to modify the employment agreement. The modified agreement includes
fulfillment of contractual compensation and provides for Dr. Corneille to conclude her
employment with the district effective June 30, 2026.

Throughout this process, both Dr. Corneille and the Board have prioritized continuity,
stability, and the best interests of students and staff. The Board acted in accordance with its
governance responsibilities and legal guidance. As this is a personnel matter, the district will
not be sharing additional details beyond what is reflected in the agreement.

The Board and Dr. Corneille remain focused on supporting a steady transition and continued
progress toward the district’s strategic priorities.
